Route calls between Teams and Live Hub
Routing calls between Teams and Live Hub requires two configuration entities: a counterpart in Live Hub for the Teams tenant to exchange calls with, and a routing rule that joins the two. Both come after the tenant is connected and its phone numbers are assigned.
Create the Live Hub entity
The Teams tenant needs a counterpart in Live Hub, which can be any of the following:
Whichever you choose, it must support the numbers you assigned to your Teams users. If you connect the tenant to a SIP trunk, for instance, those numbers must fall within the range you bought from the trunk provider.
Create the routing rule
A routing rule carries calls from the Teams tenant to that entity, and back the other way. A Teams connection behaves like a SIP connection on the Routing screen: it is selectable in both the 'Connected service' and 'Connected with' columns.
See Routing rules for how to build the rule.
